We invite you to the international festival „La nuit du Cirque“ / „Zeit für Zirkus“ at Ost-Passage-Theater! Three Companies from Leipzig present their 30min each performances with clowning, acrobatics and juggling. This colourful evening let you pick through the hugh variete of contemporary circus.
No access for wheelchairs. There will be a break after the first two pieces.

About the Company
In his solo “Home” Sebastian Utecht builds a fragile clothesline construction, which forms the starting point for the examination of the topic of home. The FourStringCompany tells their musical acrobatic piece with “4Saiten 4Hände & 1Loopstation”. And RoarCircus don’t just play with chips and clubs in “Crunchy Stories”...
About the Location
The Ost-Passage Theater is a neighborhood theater in the structurally weak east of the city of Leipzig, directly on Eisenbahnstrasse, the most multicultural shopping mile in Saxony. The stage is supported by the non-profit Ost-Passage Theater e.V. Together and in collaborating networks, we - despite all odds - contribute to the fact that looking and playing on and around the stage, the art of theater, with its inexhaustible power Imagination, with its outstanding potential for depicting and reflecting social action, with all its power to cultivate all-too-human emotions, will continue to be an integral part of (socio-)cultural and political education across all social classes in the future.
