Young Talent Gala - Insights into Experimental Processes

Nachwuchsgala – Einblicke in experimentelle Prozesse

Our gala shows the first steps out of the comfort zone towards new ideas and the exploration of possibilities. Because circus is not just circus, we open our stage to all people who want to show their own interpretation of circus.

Finding one's own expression can become just as visible as the experimental search itself. Dare to stand out and do something different, because circus is not just circus, just as music is not just music!

After the show, the audience will have the opportunity to talk to the artists and ask questions about the performances they have just seen.

About the Location

Since its foundation in 1956, the Fritz-Henßler-Haus | Haus der Jugend has been the largest central facility of the City of Dortmund's Jugendamt (Youth Welfare Office). The centre's diverse cultural and educational programmes are aimed at young people between the ages of 6 and 27. The Fritzantino children's and youth circus based here was founded in 1977 as part of the Open Door programme, making it one of the oldest children's and youth circuses in all of Germany. Currently, 160 children, teenagers and young adults train in 42 different training groups.
