Lukas Aue: „Entglitten“

Once lost, hope is not so easy to regain when the world is falling apart and even the most obvious piece of furniture seems to be turning away from you: the chair. It would be such a good place to sit and think and ponder all the crises. But the protagonist is not granted peace; this object challenges him again and again and demands peak performance from him. Staggering between anger, grief, longing, and doubt, he repeatedly finds himself on unexpected paths that bring new perspectives and experiences. Perhaps true hope lies not in looking to the future, but in what one does in the here and now?

In the solo performance ENTGLITTEN, acrobat and mime artist Lukas Aue tells the story of a person who tirelessly searches for hope despite all of life's challenges. The result is a poetic piece of contemporary circus that tackles one of the greatest challenges of our time.
