CircusMühle Kelbra invites you to a special jam session, an encounter between visual arts and circus. Circus artists perform their skills, from juggling to trapeze artistry, while they are drawn and painted live. Movement becomes artistic inspiration! Circus Zeich(n)en welcomes anyone who wants to express themselves creatively.
Painting circle: Here, circus movements can become inspiration and a starting point for your own works of art on paper. No previous knowledge is necessary; the painting circle is open to everyone. Please bring your own drawing and painting materials, as well as appropriate paper. Circus jam session: Anyone with previous experience is invited to participate in the jam at their own risk. There is plenty of space for physical movement in the rehearsal room, and all circus arts are welcome—juggling, clowning, aerial arts, acrobatics, tightrope walking, etc. Please bring your own props and costumes and register any aerial arts requirements in advance.
Participants are requested to register by November 13 at: info(at)circus-muehle.de Subject: Circus Zeich(n)en

About the Company
With KunstRaum Kelbra e.V., we have a supporting association for CircusMühle Kelbra as a creation and production space for performing arts in public spaces and contemporary circus, which has been under development in the rural area of southern Saxony-Anhalt since 2022. The association acts as an intermediary between artists and rural civil society, between generations, between art education and ecological education.
About the Location
CircusMühle Kelbra is an emerging international creation and production space for the performing arts, with a special focus on outdoor arts and circus. The venue will encompass all aspects of the artistic process and thus become a space for collaborative collaboration. Artists can work and realize their creative ideas during residencies. They can draw on the venue’s professional, spatial, and material infrastructure while simultaneously presenting their work to the region and beyond.
