Diana Salles: DELUSIONAL - I Killed a Man

"DELUSIONAL - I Killed a Man" is a contemporary circus show that invites the audience on a journey of a trans woman in search of herself.
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1996, the artist Diana Salles explores the agonising feeling of having murdered her former self - an experience that many trans people discover while leaving their assigned gender behind.
In her solo debut, Diana Salles combines aerial acrobatics with dancing and singing and creates a spectacular physical theatre performance. She is inviting us to reflect on the physical and emotional strength necessary to follow the call of one's true self.
