Claire Terrien/ Plus Ou Moins Cirque Productions: Feldmessung

What can we measure at all, and with which tools? Through acrobatic movements, drawings in space and music, the measurability of our world is playfully scrutinised. Between maths and poetry, the performers set out in search of a common unity. To do so, they manipulate specially developed measuring devices with light, sand and ropes. In doing so, they transfer the real space into the imaginary space of a walk-in map. Whether the journey with the rocket works depends on how accurate the map turns out to be. In FELDMESSUNG, a context is created in which the audience is invited to think along and thus actively participate in what is happening.

About the Location

Firmly convinced that we alone will not find answers to the questions we face, the Fabriktheater was founded as a collective, based in the Kulturfabrik Moabit in Lehrter Straße. By questioning things, scrutinising them, taking them apart and reassembling them in a new form to see what changes. We want to be a space for experimentation and protection. As a never-ending endeavour, it remains committed to the process, propagating that change must lie in the search. We look forward to everyone, everyone and they, simply everyone who has the courage to join us in asking what kind of world we want to live in.
