Chris Iris: V_RST_LL_NG
Friday, 15.11.24 @ 20:00

The new show of Chris and Iris combines contemporary circus with language.
Words fall and acrobats are caught.
The performance evolves around the German term „Vorstellung“ in it’s several meanings of “imagination”, “to present oneself” and simply “show”.
The duo gives insights into their training routine and live as artists. It’s a piece with a lot of honesty and humor, going into philosophical questions and stimulating the imagination of the audience. But also the artistic performance doesn’t come too short.
Movements speak, language moves.
A show that is multi-layered, approachable and always surprises.
Language: German
Wheelchair access & WC available | Handicap car park available

About the Location
TOLLHAUS sees itself as an important player in urban society and a platform for the independent scene. We are contact persons, facilitators and advocates for the free and independent arts and their protagonists. We offer platforms and scope for development as far as we can and place current cultural formats in an international context. With our varied program, we appeal to a broad audience with diverse interests across generations. Moderate admission prices are just as important to us as a fair fee arrangement with the artists. Regionally, nationally and internationally, we network with similar institutions and groups in various networks and thus enable, among other things, international in-house productions, especially in the field of new dance theater and contemporary circus.
