BUZZ: ZirkusLab – Erinnerungen an den Neuen Zirkus
With this digital event, we are looking for personal memories and experiences with and in the young art form in Germany. Which artists and companies were active and where were pieces performed? What shaped the New Circus in Germany from the 1980s to the 2000s, and who remembers a formative circus event from that time that is certainly not yet to be found in any archive? “ZirkusLab – Memories of New Circus” is an open laboratory format among the participants. At the same time, it is an opportunity for exchange and an impetus for a further search for traces of the beginnings of new and contemporary circus in archives and collections.
