For children aged 4 and up and their adult companions
Please register as a family or support team – whether that’s parents with children, grandparents with grandchildren, or any other family constellation. Everyone is welcome!
What can you expect?
Step into the colorful world of the circus! Together, you’ll have the chance to explore different circus disciplines, get creative, and support one another.
The most important thing is the shared experience: you’ll strengthen your trust, discover new sides of yourselves, and have lots of fun with movement, play, and circus arts.
What should you bring?
- Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely (without zippers)
- A small snack and drinks
- And most importantly: enthusiasm for trying things out and discovering together
- Non-slip socks or soft indoor shoes

About the Company
The workshop is led by a team of trainers from ABRAX KADABRAX.
The trainers at ABRAX KADABRAX are qualified circus, dance, theatre, and social education professionals who bring a wide range of experience in various circus disciplines – from acrobatics and juggling to clowning.
About the Location
Circus ABRAX KADABRAX is a socio-cultural educational project. Through numerous collaborations, the team offers circus education programs for children, teenagers, and adults. Each year, over 1,000 people participate in the diverse projects of the circus. ABRAX KADABRAX has its permanent location at Osdorfer Born in Hamburg. On the beautiful circus grounds, right next to the Bürgerhaus Bornheide community center, there is a four-mast circus tent, several circus wagons, a circus café, and two workshops for costumes and props.
