The CABUWAZI Tempelhof youth ensemble features young artists between the ages of 14 and 21 – some of whom have been living in Berlin for some time, while others are new to the city. ‘Time to Talk’ is this year's motto for Zeit für Zirkus (Time for Circus) – a perfect complement to the ensemble's artistic work: dialogue, encounter and exchange characterise their collaboration. Although many very different life stories come together here, the focus is on the community of the group – and the love of circus art. In this year's show, the ensemble will send a message of solidarity through various disciplines on the ground and in the air.

YoungStars Edition
The FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT Festival – a stage for freedom of movement, flight and arrival since 2017 – will launch its YoungStars Edition in 2025!
In a time of social division and global crises, it is clear that freedom of movement directly affects young people. That's why in 2025, our stage will belong entirely to the young CABUWAZI artists.
Their voices, their views on freedom of movement and their perspectives will be at the heart of the festival, opening up space for discussions about mobility, power, justice and belonging – from the perspective of the younger generation.
Since 2024, we have been running our festival as part of Zeit für Zirkus. Zeit für Zirkus is a Germany-wide festival for contemporary circus and includes performances, premieres, workshops, exchange formats, parties, online formats and much more.
The Young Stars Edition will take place on Saturday, 15 November at CABUWAZI Tempelhof.

CABUWAZI Tempelhof – The Cultural Airport is a circus adventure for young and old. Three large circus tents and many circus wagons, our own workshops, and a costume collection offer space and opportunities for circus, theater, dance, and music.
