In I Was Told., the artist plays with, manipulates, and questions how both – the audience and she – perceive her as woman and performer on stage. Through ring juggling and self-written texts, as well as plenty of interaction, they share witty moments and with a tad of feminism and a great portion of honesty, Kathrin Wagner encourages reflection and empowers the audience.
NOWHERE ON EARTH is a spectacular magic show by Matt Canvas about the meaning of life and the downfall of our planet. Climate change, war, resource scarcity. Full speed ahead into the future. But is EVERYTHING really lost? Let yourself be captivated by world-class magic.
About the Company
The artist Kathrin Wagner
Kathrin is an autodidact, specializing in ring juggling and spoken word. She discovered her passion for contemporary circus through the juggling community, in which she also made her first steps on stage in 2011. Her great affinity for communication, foreign languages and cultural identities of their speakers led her to a BA in British Studies and in 2019, to poetry slams. Since then, she has written and performed her own texts, in English, German, and French.
The artist Matt Canvas
Matt Canvas is a former ballet dancer who now works as a magician and illusionist, based in Hamburg and performing worldwide. His passion for magic is reflected in his captivating shows, where he blends dance, circus arts, and fire manipulation.
