Benjamin Richter: TAKTiL

In TAKTiL the stage is encountered as a gallery where juggler, dancer and performer Benjamin Richter creates sculptures in a humorously poetic journey of images that seem to expand in time. Moving in a sensitive dialog of object manipulation, Benjamin makes the qualities of his non-human partners tangible to others. Everybody likes to play, and audiences are gently invited to cross the artificial boundary between spectator and stage, giving space for collaboration in playful presence. The question of who is performing for who, eventually becomes irrelevant and the resulting encounter is touching in its honesty, moving in its beauty and funny.
