Cirque Intense: Open Day

Cirque Intense, the Preparatory School for Contemporary Circus in Southern Germany invites you to an open day. In cooperation with "Zeit für Zirkus", we want to introduce the school and our work to all the people in the region and invite them to get to know us. After an aperitif, there will be the opportunity to visit our new circus wagon, the tent and the place. We will show the documentary film "Umschwung" by Miriam Haverkamp, which she realized during summer 23 and in which she portrays the Cirque Intense students from Cirque Intense 5.0. The participants of Cirque Intense 6.0 present themselves on stage for the first time with sketches of their new circus acts. After our highlight, the premiere of Larissa Dingler's "Frau Hirschberg Allein zu Haus", we crown the day with our fire-acro-show around the chapiteau.

About the Company
Cirque Intense is the two-year preparatory school for career guidance and audition preparation at international colleges of contemporary circus. It offers a full-time training programme with circus, dance, music, theatre.
About the Location
Cirque Intense is an orientation year for school graduates who want to try out creative, artistic and movement techniques, who want to know whether the profession of artist, movement performer or circus educator is right for them.Circus projects are in demand these days. However, for many, graduation from school marks the end of an eventful, educational leisure activity.Cirque Intense therefore goes beyond this and offers the opportunity to spend a year working with artistry, theater, dance, music and performance. At the same time, participants gain practical experience in circus education by teaching groups of children on a weekly basis under supervision. Young adults receive intensive training, devise and perform. If interested, they prepare for entrance exams to international circus universities.Cirque Intense can also be used as a continuing education program for circus educators or other interested parties. Here you can intensively study circus arts for a self-selected period of time.
