Eight by two meters of green artificial turf, behind it a landscape stretches out on a large canvas. Two people lie in the grass: "It's a perfect day." Yoga on the grass, the smell of the forest, a bird emerging from a hologram. Two bodies balancing and floating, techno, sexuality, the dog upside down and the happy cat. A futuristic rap concert, a dystopia, a rift, cold and pleasure, cables, wireless connections, microphones and cameras. "Hedonia" is an interdisciplinary circus performance that combines contemporary circus, digital media, video art, rap, text and sound design to create a multi-sensory experience. In the tension between plastic nature, real feelings and pixel tears, the performers* embark on a critical investigation of our technology-mediated reality and its profound impact on our lives.

About the Company
Clara Cortés graduated in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona (2013). From 2014 to 2018, she studied "Circus & Performance Arts" at ACaPA (NL). Her circus discipline is fixed trapeze. Clara's work is interdisciplinary, bringing new and innovative impulses into the circus with her fine arts background.
Moritz Grenz graduated from the Bachelor's program in "Circus & Performance Arts" at ACaPA (NL). His main discipline is tight wire. In addition to circus, he is involved with rap music and sound engineering, combining these elements to artistically explore socially relevant issues.
Paul Schultze graduated from the Bachelor's program in musicology in Halle (Saale) and is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Audio Communication and Technology at TU Berlin. He produces electronic music under the alias FM Pause and specializes in experimental sound design for installations and scenic works.
Simon Vorgrimmler completed his Bachelor's degree in scenic arts at the University of Hildesheim. He combines the means and languages of theater with digitally generated elements from film and visual arts.

About the Location
Katapult is an independent venue focused on contemporary circus and dance. The premises are managed by artists for artists and function as a production and training location for freelance artists during the week. In addition, monthly workshops and master classes are organized in various disciplines such as circus, juggling, dance, clowning, physical theater, as well as network meetings and work-in-progress showings.
