Benjamin Richter: TAKTiL
Saturday, 18.11.23
11:30
Märkisches Museum Witten, Husemannstraße 12, 58452 Witten

In the performance TAKTiL Benjamin Richter juggles sculptures that seem to expand in time. The audience is given time and space to let images and stories emerge. 40 white wooden blocks, a stone, a wine glass, a rope and a juggler with their different characteristics form the starting point of this performative journey. As in a living exhibition, the audience is kindly included by the artist in this creative expedition.

About the Location
Kulturforum Witten sees itself as a local driver of social change through collaborative productions. The city's former cultural office includes the Saalbau and the Märkisches Museum. The Märkische Museum Witten has specialized in informal art from Germany since the 1950s. From October 21, 2023, the exhibition "What urges to create... Expressionism and its consequences" will begin. TAKTiL is integrated into the context of the exhibition, which shows the work "Zirkusreiter" by Max Pechstein.
