Benjamin Richter: TAKTiL
In the performance TAKTiL Benjamin Richter juggles sculptures that seem to expand in time. The audience is given time and space to let images and stories emerge. 40 white wooden blocks, a stone, a wine glass, a rope and a juggler with their different characteristics form the starting point of this performative journey. As in a living exhibition, the audience is kindly included by the artist in this creative expedition.

About the Company

Benjamin Richter has been performing as a contemporary juggler and dancer for over 30 years. He has performed as a soloist and in companies such as Gandini Juggling and Cirkus Cirkör at the Edinburgh Festival or London International Mime Festival. He consciously allows himself to be moved by the properties of the objects he is working with - physically and mentally - to create his performance pieces. He has been involved in the creation of more than 100 performance pieces and he loves to laugh. Benjamin Richter

The Märkische Museum Witten has specialized in informal art from Germany since the 1950s. From October 21, 2023, the exhibition "What urges to create...
